From the Archdiocese
Dear Monsignor/ Rev Father
Warm Christmas Greetings to you.
In light of the State President’s address this evening (28 December 2020), which reverts us back to level three lockdown restrictions. Starting at midnight until the 15 January 2021, all parishes in the Catholic Archdiocese of Johannesburg will be close during this period. The restrictions state that “all indoor and outdoor gatherings are prohibited” with the exception of funerals where no more than 50 people are allowed to be in attendance.
Please would you ensure that the contents of my message is made know to all the clergy and religious of the Archdiocese of Johannesburg and the laity in your parish are informed. You will be informed of any changes or amendments.
Let’s hold each other in prayer and ensure to keep safe.
Yours in Jesus Christ and Mary Immaculate.
